Early Childhood
Music and Movement Classes for infants through 4 years old
Mixed age
classes: For infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with a parent
or caregiver. Research shows that children learn best in a mixed age
environment.
Babies
classes: Babies are very receptive to music and to their
mother or caregiver’s voice. Music activities and materials are
especially designed to learn as much as possible about music
development in infants and to plant the seeds for music development
during this receptive time.
We offer three 10 week semesters, fall, winter, spring, and a 6
week summer semester.
Message

All children have a natural ability and enthusiasm for music that grows
best in the primary years, ages birth - 5. In a playful,
musically rich and developmentally appropriate setting, Music Together
helps children develop their natural musical ability through singing,
moving, chanting, listening, and exploring musical instruments.
The atmosphere in Music Together class invites and encourages
participation by both children and adults, regardless of music skill,
talent or training. Parents learn how to play musically with
their child and how to understand and enhance music development.
I have been teaching music for 16 years and have a 2-year-old son who
has loved the Music Together program since he started at 6 months
old. I hope you will come join us for a trial class.
