We are happy to be the instructors in your child’s swimming education. Your child has been placed in a class with children of similar age and swimming ability. They are a top priority to us as we are committed to making a difference in their lives. We hope that both you and your child enjoy swimming and are equally pleased with the progress made!

During the past 50 years, we have taught over a quarter of a million students. We are professionally confident in our teaching methods and abilities. Please leave the teaching to us. Our policy is to teach with love and joy in a happy, positive, and structured atmosphere.

While continuous progression is ideal, we are aware that all children excel at different rates. Please do not be worried if it seems that your child has reached a plateau at a certain class level. It is common for children to appear to make no progress at all in some stages. Our instructors work hard to build a trusting relationship with each child, as this makes the learning process much easier. We cannot tell you ahead of time how long it will take for your child to swim, but we will do our best to make progress as rapid as possible. Please keep in mind that learning to swim requires time and patience and is an ongoing process. It is important that we all give the children positive reinforcement. Reinforcing negative behaviors makes it harder for the instructors to teach your child.

Group classes have a maximum of four children, except for Parent Child classes, which have a maximum of six children. If you pay for a group class and your child is alone for some reason, then he/she will receive a 20-minute private lesson. We feel that smaller class sizes are beneficial and allow your child to receive more personalized attention.
