Sheryl Hunter Griffith, D.D.S.

Dr. Sheryl Hunter Griffith is a native of the Houston area. She attended the University of Houston at Clear Lake City, then, the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio; obtaining a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1982. She practiced General Dentistry; then, returned to UTHSCSA, graduating in 1987 with a Post-Doctoral Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry. While attending the University of Houston, she worked at the Johnson Space Center as a Data Processing Analyst for the Space Shuttle during its development.
Dr. Griffith is involved in numerous dental organizations which promote research, education, prevention and restoration of dental diseases. Among these are the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the Greater Houston Dental Society.
Sheryl and her husband have three children. Her hobbies include walking, cooking, music, and gardening.

Laji J. James, D.D.S.

Dr. Laji J. James has been a proud resident of Houston, Texas since 1980. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University in San Antonio. Dr. James then received his dental degree and specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. James is a member of numerous professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Houston Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Greater Houston Dental Society. Dr. James is dedicated to the oral healthcare of children and is an earnest child advocate. He strives for excellence in practice by continuing educational opportunities with special focus in orthodontics, growth, and development.
Dr. James and his wife have two children. His favorite hobbies include reading, music and travel.

Amy L. Luedemann, D.D.S.

Dr. Amy L. Luedemann, a board certified pediatric dentist, is a native Houstonian who has been in the dental field since 1990. She finished Magna Cum Laude in her undergraduate degree with studies in Nutrition and Psychology, . She obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2005 from the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston. She then traveled to Seattle, Washington where she received her Pediatric Specialty Training and a Masters degree from the University of Washington. After completing her program there, she worked at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center , which was recently ranked in the top 10 of children’s hospitals in the US. There she served on the craniofacial team and worked with children who had special healthcare needs such as: Autism, Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Hemophilia, Sickle Cell Disease, cancer and many other conditions. In addition, Dr. Luedemann accepted a position teaching at the University of Washington and Seattle Children's Hospital. In this role she participated in giving lectures and clinical teaching to students learning to be dentists and physicians. While she enjoyed working with special populations and the role of teacher, Texas called her home
