SeekingSitters member families can rely on us to work for them and find a sitter for each specific need. One call to SeekingSitters or a simple request online and an available prescreened Certified Sitter contacts you. SeekingSitters service provides convenience to busy families by offering online services for scheduling, invoice tracking and sitter profile review. We are even available around the clock for your last minute needs. And most importantly, with SeekingSitters you know you are using a service you can trust.
We personally interview every sitter and they must meet the following qualifications to be considered to join our babysitting team. A SeekingSitters candidate must be at least 18 years of age (average age, 23), own reliable transportation, have extensive prior childcare experience, have a positive background screening of public record history and personal character evaluation and must have current CPR & First Aid Certifications. If we feel like they will make a great sitter then we personally check their references and move them on to the next phase which is the background screening process. These background checks are performed through SeekingSitter's in-house investigation company, Hide and Seek. Hide and Seek was founded in 1978 and from 30 years of investigative experience, they know that pertinent personal character information can be overlooked unless an in‐depth background investigation is performed on an individual; therefore, an intense hands-on background check is performed on every sitter. This thorough background check process in conjunction with SeekingSitters one-on-one interview process is how SeekingSitters babysitting service can find and screen the best sitters possible.
